As a Sales Associate at Sears, I primarily worked as a day stocker in the shoe department, managing tasks like price changes, stocking, and organizing shoes for display. Balancing work and school, I also assisted customers with online orders and provided support for their inquiries. My attention to detail and customer service skills helped create a positive shopping experience.
After Sears went out of business, I began working at Target in the shoe department, where I stocked shoes and following visual merchandising guides. My role expanded to include clothing, and it was there that I discovered my passion for visual merchandising. Additionally, I assisted guests across various areas and worked at the registers.
September 2020- Present
As a Visual Merchandiser, my role involves setting the store floor according to the Visual Merchandising Guidelines (VMG). I am responsible for ordering parts fixtures, validating pricing, and ensuring that every item has its designated place within the store. My focus is on creating an inviting and organized shopping environment that enhances the customer experience.
